I dropped my car off after my transmission decided it didn't want to work anymore. They were quick and helpful because I had no idea what I was getting into. They had great customer service and I and pleased with the job they did.
I was referred to Advanced Transmissions by one our locally trusted mechanics with high expectations of great service and care of my sentimental 1996 Toyota Landcruiser. Throughout the time my vehicle was in the care of Advanced Transmissions, the receptionist Kelly and mechanics were very professional and remained in communication with me, updating me on the progress of my vehicle and asking me before ordering parts and completing the services needed to make it run properly. Each time I spoke to them on the phone, I asked if it was driving properly and if they noticed anything else that might need to be repaired aside from what they were working on. Each time they responded that it was driving nicely and the items needing to be fixed were being repaired. Upon picking up my vehicle, the battery was dead and the fuel tank was below empty, neither of which were brought to my attention over the course of the three weeks that it was in their care, nor at the counter when I paid the bill. I had to find out for myself when I walked up to start my vehicle, excited to drive it again. Luckily they were kind enough to come out to my vehicle and jump it for me. Upon bringing these concerns to their attention, they said that the car battery had to be jumped every time they worked on it and in the most condescending and sarcastic tone told me that everyone is responsible for buying their own gas and that they drive cars on fumes all of the time without issue and the battery store was next door if I wanted to replace the battery. Had I not looked at the gas gauge, I could’ve easily been stuck on Butler Rd. with an empty tank of gas and a dead battery in a very vulnerable position. I told them that if they had kindly brought this to my attention while my car was in their care that I would have gladly paid for them to put in a few gallons of gas and a new battery. What began as a great experience in developing trust in another local mechanic for the care and maintenance of my vehicle, ended with inconvenience and dissatisfaction. If I could give the receptionist Kelly a 5* review I would! If the rest of the staff had been as courteous and professional in person at pick up as they were on the phone while my vehicle was there and were not disrespectful and dismissive at pick up, after I brought my concerns to their attention, I would be leaving a 5* review. Unfortunately after giving them the opportunity to take accountability and rectify my experience, I am not able to do so.
Our car broke down in Greenville on our way to Atlanta...transmission issues!! Talked to Advanced and after having it towed there on Friday, they went out of their way to have diagnostics done quickly. They were super helpful! We recommend them highly, and we would definitely go to them with more transmission issues. Thank you!
Wow what an amazing experience I had with Advance Transmission! Kelly was awesome helping me from the time I called to the time I picked up my Dodge Durango. I was quoted a high price to have my Transmission replaced and even thinking of trading my car. One of my friends recommended Advanced Transmission and not only did they not replace my Transmission they where able to do repairs and the price was only 1/3 of the other quote. They where super friendly and I will be a customer for life.
Got my 2014 Silverado in and out within 2 days for a very reasonable price. 2 weeks later truck is driving brand new. Thank you Advanced
I went to advanced transmission last year an they did great work for my vehicle I went again for my rear differentials an actually they remembered my suv ..an me ..they do great work there an they come highly recommended ..there staff is great there fair with there prices an have great customer service .I've spoken several times to Leon an he is really a good guy also when I needed a lift to get my car one of the younger fellas took me to get my car ..very nice guy I'm sorry but I didn't get his name ..Ms Kelly who runs the front she's really a cool chick great personality an great customer service she's a fun lady to talk too ..well I recommended theses guys for there experience an professionalism ..thank you guys...I'm the guy with the Buick Rainer ...
